Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 250g Butter
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 250ml Milk
- 4 shots of coffee
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 200g of milk or dark chocolate
- >400g self-raising flour
- 3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
Method
- Preheat oven to 170°C
- Melt butter, sugar, milk, coffee, vanilla and chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat
- Whisk in flour and cocoa powder
- Whisk in eggs and transfer into 2 8in cake pan to cook for 50 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean
